What are eye mites?

For newcomers, eye mites, or Demodex mites, are a microscopic parasite commonly found on our skin, less common in children and more common in the elderly.

Fortunately, being microscopic prevents us from seeing them in the mirror every day. However, their voices get louder as skin symptoms develop and by the time you notice their presence in large numbers it is often too late to get on top of them on your own. 😕😥

Demodex is not like dirt on the skin that can easily be removed by washing; they live in the skin, attach themselves to lash bases, grow to adults and reproduce. The fact is they live on you rent-free is horror enough! 😨
