Hair Structure

✅Inner Layer (medulla):
Is a central zone of cells present only in large thick hair.

✅Middle layer (cortex):
Is the main structure of the hair shaft, cortex determines the colour and hair texture of the hair affected by chemicals (bleaching, perming and colouring).

✅Outer layer (cuticle):
Tiny overlapping scales to protect the cortex.
