Demodex mites living in the hair follicles leave waste and their decomposing bodies behind. This can cause a build-up of bacteria and germs and then lead to dandruff. 😲

Mites will come out of the hair follicles only to walk and mate on top of the scalp, this causes itching when their tiny claws scuff the scalp's surface, and excessive scratching can contribute to dandruff well. 😮😥
